Library Resources
The Town of Minot no longer has an agreement with the Auburn Public Library (APL) as of April 2026. The Town currently has agreements in place with the Mechanic Falls and Turner Public Libraries. These 2 libraries have agreed to invoice the Town of Minot directly.
What do I do if I want to keep going to APL or a different library???
You must speak with and get approval from the Town Administrator before the reimbursement will be issued, because the libraries that the Town has agreements with come at a substantial cost savings and offer interlibrary loan. Most APL services and programming are still available to the general public.

Minot's Tiny Library!
The Town Office now has a Tiny Library!
Tatyanna McCourt, a Senior at PRHS, picked this as her Senior Celebration Project!
It is a take a book leave a book type deal but even if you don't leave a book feel fee to take one.
We love the idea Tatyanna and it looks great! Thank you!
