All Minot residents must have a current Waste Disposal Permit attached to the window of their vehicle in order to dispose of any materials at Maine Waste to Energy. Permits are available at the Minot Town Office, 329 Woodman Hill Rd. for $10.00 per permit. A separate permit must be affixed to every vehicle that uses the Maine Waste to Energy Facility. The permit is necessary since Minot pays the disposal cost with tax dollars and it helps us ensure that only Minot residents use this Town-funded service.

Refrigerators, air conditioners, freezers must be properly tagged before it is accepted by Maine Waste to Energy for a $30.00 fee.

They will also take old TVs for a $10.00 fee.

Maine Metal Recycling/Schnitzer, 522 Washington Ave. , Auburn , will accept the items for a fee if the Freon has not been removed: $15.00 - Refrigerators & Freezers; $25.00 - Air Conditioners.
