Browntail Moth Information
In 2020, Minot was identified as an area having high occurrences of Browntail Moth (BTM) within town boundaries. It is believed that this will continue in 2021. This of particular concern because BTM hairs can cause a reaction similar to poison ivy as well as breathing problems. The hairs can remain toxic for up to three years.
