Camper Excise (Chapter 523 LD 15)

Effective 7/29 excise tax collected on camper trailers will be based on the length of the camper, not the year and MSRP like car registrations. (Chapter 523 LD 15)

Per the law, these rates will receive a cost of living adjustment every year as of 1/1.

Please be prepared to provide proof of the length of your camper. If you cannot provide proof, staff will look the camper length up in our system.
