2027 ATV Stickers

FINAL UPDATE 8/31/2026

We now have our full shipment of ATV stickers and can process re-registrations!

If you completed a re-reg online IF&W should be mailing you your registration and stickers. We will not issue duplicate stickers unless the ones you have are damaged.

 

UPDATE 7/1/2026

IF&W is expected to receive partial shipments of stickers over the next 2–3 weeks, which means they will be working to get stickers out to all agents/ offices as soon as possible. 

New ATV registrations

Can be done at our office as long as we have stickers. If we do not have stickers during this temporary delay, please complete the ATV registration form and submit it by email to MOSES.Support@maine.gov or by mail to the MDIFW main office in Augusta.

New registrations submitted by email are currently being processed within 1–2 business days by IF&W. Customers should include the completed registration form and the required supporting documentation:

  • For a dealer sale: A bill of sale or invoice that includes the year, make, model, VIN, purchase price, and sales tax paid.
  • For a private sale: A bill of sale that includes the year, make, model, VIN, and purchase price, along with a completed Use Tax Certificate.

Customers who submit their registration by email should keep a copy of the sent email as proof of registration while riding until their official registration and stickers arrive.

ATV renewals

Continue to be completed online. Customers who renew online should keep their confirmation with them while riding. Official registrations and stickers will be mailed once stickers are available.

IF&W is working to put a master agreement together to prevent this issue from happening in the future.

 

UPDATE 6/25/2026

We still have not received our full inventory of ATV stickers and are still being instructed by IF&W to only process new registrations with the inventory that we have.

 

2027 ATV Registrations Update (5/22/2026)
We have a small supply (1 booklet of 20) of ATV stickers to process new registrations here in the Office. According to IF&W, we should receive the rest of our shipment in 30 days.

 

Customers wishing to renew their machines are currently required to do so through our online services, accessible at: https://apps1.web.maine.gov/online/atv_snow/index.htm

 

Customers who need to register a new machine, may either wait until our office receives the 2027 stickers or contact IF&W via email at MOSES.support@maine.gov providing the following information:
> Legal name
> Date of birth
> Address
> Phone number
> Copy of their drivers license for proof of residency
> Copy of the bill of sale with the year, make, model, color, serial/VIN, cost of purchase and proof of any sales tax paid.
If sales tax is to be paid at time of purchase, the customer will need to complete a Use Tax Certificate. If the customer requires help with this part, someone in the Licensing Division will assist. For convenience, you can access the Use Tax Certificate by using the link below.

 

IF&W complete each registration in the order in which they are received. A representative will contact the customer to finalize the payment which can be made via debit or credit card. Upon competition of the transaction, IF&W will send the customer a registration form, allowing them to recreate with their machine immediately. The permanent sticker will be mailed to the customer once we have received the final shipment.
