June 1, 2020: Reopening Guidelines
The following guidelines have been implemented in response to the State's guidelines to promote the health and safety of the public and staff:
- Please use personal responsibility to maintain the recommended 6-foot distance from others whenever possible. There are markers on the ground to help assist with this recommendation
- Remote services (telephone, email, online, etc.) are still available for those who do not wish to come into the office and appointments are available on request and subject to staff availability.
- Access to the building is limited. One person per window is permitted but vestibule will remain locked to allow for proper sanitation between patrons. ~The vestibule will be limited to the next person in the queue and the parking lot will be clearly marked to indicate proper social distancing.
- One-way traffic for the Town Office will be directed from the main entrance of the building to the rear entrance in order to comply with State guidelines. For those unable to use the stairs on the rear, the vestibule will be cleared of other patrons to allow for the individual to safely exit the building or curbside service will be offered.
- The public is required to wear a mask when entering Town facilities. This will be advertised over the phone, on the website and social media. If a patron does not have a mask, one will be offered to them, but they will not be permitted to enter without one and services will be conducted through the vestibule.
- There will be stations to allow the public to have access to sanitizer and they will be encouraged to use it while in the office area.
- We ask that you refrain from coming to the Office if you are experiencing symptoms, had a known exposure to someone whom is ill or traveled outside of the State within the last 14 days. We are happy to work with you to provide remote services.
